Tdm Recruitment is working in partnership with a well-established and highly regarded strategic land promotion business looking to appoint a Senior Land Manager to strengthen their presence across the Southern Home Counties.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-capitalised, entrepreneurial promoter with an excellent track record of securing planning permissions and delivering successful land sales.
The Role
Reporting into the Land Director, you will take a lead role in originating and securing new strategic land opportunities across Kent, Surrey, Sussex, berkshire and the wider Southern Home Counties.
This is a deal-focused position where your primary responsibility will be identifying, negotiating and securing new promotion agreements.
Key responsibilities:
* Proactively sourcing new strategic land opportunities
* Building relationships with landowners, agents and key introducers
* Negotiating heads of terms and promotion agreements
* Managing opportunities through appraisal and internal approval processes
* Working closely with planning and technical teams to progress sites
* Supporting land disposals alongside the leadership team

About You
We're keen to speak with ambitious, commercially astute land professionals who are:
* Currently working for a strategic land promoter, housebuilder strategic land team, or land trading business
* Proven in originating and securing deals
* Strong relationship builder with agents and landowners
* Highly motivated, target-driven and entrepreneurial
* Comfortable operating across the Southern Home Counties market
* detailed experience of sourcing and acquiring strategic land projects (essential and deal sheet will be required)
* background of option agreements, subject to and unconditional land purchases
