We are seeking a Student Pastoral Manager to lead and manage the Student Services team, ensuring all students are able to learn in a safe, secure, disciplined but ultimately supportive environment. Reporting to the Assistant Head responsible for Conduct & Relationships, our Student Pastoral Manager will track and monitor behaviour interventions and their impact, ensuring parents are informed as appropriate.
The successful candidate will:
1. Ensure staff in the team understand and meet the full requirements of their role.
2. Ensure daily coverage of absences in the team to ensure adequate staffing for supervision, break and lunch duties as well as behaviour interventions.
3. Oversee First Aid provision within the Academy.
4. Co-ordinate the on-call and central detention rota.
5. To be trained (if not already) as a DCPC for the Academy and liaise with the DSL and DDSL regarding the safeguarding of all students and staff.
