About the Company
Our client is a leading specialist in data cabling and network infrastructure solutions, providing high-quality installations and support to a wide range of commercial clients. Due to continued growth, they are looking for a motivated and technically minded Salesperson to join their team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in data cabling-ideally with hands-on experience-who is now looking to transition into a client-facing sales role. No previous sales experience is required, as full training and ongoing support will be provided.
The Role
As a Salesperson, you will play a key role in developing and maintaining client relationships, following up on qualified leads, and identifying opportunities for both new and existing customers. You'll visit clients on-site, carry out surveys, prepare quotations, and ensure each project is scoped accurately and delivered to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities:
* Follow up on qualified sales leads - no cold calling required
* Visit new and existing clients to build and maintain relationships
* Conduct on-site surveys and identify client requirements
* Prepare accurate quotations and assist in project scoping
* Liaise with the technical and installation teams to ensure seamless delivery
* Maintain a high level of product and technical knowledge within data cabling and networking
* Represent the company professionally and uphold its reputation for quality and reliability
About You
* Background in data cabling or network infrastructure (essential)
* Experience "on the tools" or in an engineering/technical installation role (highly desirable)
* Strong understanding of cabling systems, connectivity, and installation processes
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently
* Full UK driving licence
