Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic, warm and friendly professional with a passion for the hospitality industry and ensuring that guests are well looked after overnight.
* Engage in a handover process with the day staff at the beginning and end of shifts
* Close front gates at the end of the day and re-open them the next morning
* Conduct security checks around the hotel throughout the night, including walking around the property as well as monitoring security cameras
* Tidy and clean the guest areas
* Collect breakfast order sheets and send to F&B department
* Complete any guest requests such as shoe-shining and night menu orders
* Run end of day reports and distribute them to Heads of Department
* Prepare billing for guests due to check out
* Organise and prepare billing for any newspaper requests
* Conduct any requested wake-up calls
* Provide information to guests as required
* Assist with guests’ luggage if required
* Keep the reception area clean and tidy
* £12.21 per hour
* 16 hours across 2 nights per week, plus the opportunity to provide holiday cover for staff
Qualifications
* You will be an excellent communicator and listener with a creative and positive attitude and the ability able to address any of our guests’ requirements
* You will hold a full driving license and be able to assist guests with parking their cars, when needed
* Strong IT Skills (some experience of Opera Front Office System is desirable)
