About the Role You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the care home, ensuring safe, effective, and person-centred care is delivered in line with CQC regulations, internal policies, and the Social Care Act. You’ll lead a multidisciplinary team, drive continuous improvement, and ensure clinical and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities * Oversee clinical compliance and all operational departments * Lead and develop staff through supervision, training, and mentorship * Ensure safe staffing, rota management, and recruitment oversight * Build strong relationships with residents, families, regulators, and external professionals * Champion quality, safeguarding, infection control, and health & safety standards * Deliver exceptional person-centred care in line with best practice guidelines * Monitor and improve key performance indicators, audits, and action plans * Promote a culture of accountability, dignity, and compassion Requirements Essential: * RGN/RMN Qualification (Active NMC PIN) * Level 5 in Health & Social Care Management (or equivalent) * Proven experience as a Home Manager or Deputy Manager in a regulated setting * Strong knowledge of dementia care, CQC compliance, and clinical governance * Excellent communication, leadership, and decision-making skills * Ability to manage budgets, audits, and performance reports * Flexible and hands-on management style with an ‘on call’ commitment Desirable: * Existing local authority/commissioning relationships * Experience with marketing and admissions strategy * Evidence of cost management and efficiency improvements Why Apply? * Supportive senior leadership and clinical team * Excellent scope for professional growth and service development * Commitment to quality, innovation, and staff wellbeing * Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package
