Technical Sales Account Manager - Food Ingredients

Seize the opportunity to join this well-established, successful business and take ownership of a portfolio of B2B accounts within the food ingredients sector. In this role, you'll be responsible for developing strong client relationships, delivering tailored solutions, and identifying new commercial opportunities to drive growth.

You'll play a critical role in developing and executing sales strategies, working closely with internal teams to meet client needs, and expanding business with both new and existing customers.

About the Role:

-Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients.
-Manage the full sales cycle, from lead generation through to contract negotiation and account growth
-Identify and pursue new business opportunities
-Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure solutions are aligned with client expectations
-Drive revenue and margin growth across your accounts
-Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and trade shows

About You:

-A proven sales professional with experience growing account volumes, revenue, and profitability
-Previous experience in B2B technical sales, ideally within the food ingredients industry, or from food manufacturing with a willingness and desire to move into this area.
-Confident relationship-builder with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
-Commercially minded, with a proactive and entrepreneurial approach to identifying opportunities
-Excellent negotiation and communication skills
