Entry-Level Accounts Administrator – Glasgow
Location: Glasgow
Salary: circa £25k
Are you looking to start your career in finance? My client, a well-established business based in Glasgow, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual for an Entry-Level Accounts Assistant position.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has recently completed an HND or degree in Accounting or Finance and is eager to gain hands-on experience in a supportive and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Process purchase ledger invoices accurately and efficiently
2. Manage and maintain the finance mailbox, ensuring queries are handled promptly
3. Deal with supplier queries in a professional and timely manner
4. Perform supplier statement reconciliations
5. Provide general administrative support to the finance team
About You:
6. Recently completed an HND or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
7. Ideally, you will have some previous work experience in a finance or administrative role (internship, placement, or similar)
8. Strong numerical and analytical skills with great attention to detail
9. Excellent communication and customer service skills
10. Confident using Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications
