Job Description
Pinnacle Recruitment is currently seeking a Commercial Manager to oversee commercial activities for the regeneration of Enfield Council's £6 billion Meridian Water development. This project involves site remediation, construction of roads, bridges, flood mitigation measures, and utility connections, as well as creating extensive landscaped parkland areas.
Salary
£80,000 - £87,000 DOE
Responsibilities
1. Participate actively in implementing project commercial start-up procedures across the region.
2. Manage the regional commercial team.
3. Procure materials and off-site services efficiently, adhering to the client's procurement policy, and maintain proper records.
4. Prepare work package content sheets and ensure the project team completes their sections.
5. Prepare inclusive tenders, evaluate submissions, and recommend awards following the client's procurement process.
6. Collaborate with the supply chain to promote continuous improvement in cost, quality, and learning.
7. Maximize cash flow through timely valuations, invoice submissions, and payments.
8. Manage final accounts, including variations, claims, and disputes.
9. Develop strategies for client negotiations.
10. Review plant and equipment schedules for efficiency.
11. Produce accurate CVR reports and forecasts, contributing to financial targets.
12. Identify early project risks and opportunities, ensuring their management.
Requirements
* Formal qualification in quantity surveying or commercial management.
* Experience managing commercial activities across multiple infrastructure projects.
* Experience working with NEC contracts is essential.
* Chartered status or working towards chartership is advantageous.
