Based in London, this role offers a hybrid work arrangement, requiring you to be in the office at least 3 days per week.
What you’ll be doing:
Strategy & Leadership: Develop and implement a people strategy aligned with Deliveroo’s global HR framework and the specific needs of the corporate organisations. Act as a trusted, commercially-minded advisor to a number of our senior most leaders and their own leadership teams on all People-related matters.

Culture & Engagement: Promote Deliveroo’s culture and values. Create and implement initiatives to boost employee engagement, motivation, and retention. Foster a diverse and inclusive workplace.
Performance Management & Development: Lead the implementation of performance management processes that drive accountability and support employee growth. Develop and deliver learning and development initiatives to enhance skills and capabilities across our corporate function teams.
Reward: Manage and optimise our compensation and benefits programs through close partnership with our Reward centre of excellence.
Change Management: Lead and support complex and high-stakes organisational change efforts, ensuring effective communication and minimal disruption. Drive transformation initiatives with a focus on business outcomes and leadership alignment.
What we’re looking for:
You will have significant senior HR leadership experience, ideally within a fast-paced, high-growth environment, preferably within the tech, logistics, or retail sectors.
You will have experience in developing and implementing effective HR strategies such as organisational design, employee engagement, performance management, and employee relations, that will drive business results.
Strong executive-level stakeholder management and collaboration skills, with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels.
You will have impactful communication skills, with business fluency in English (written and spoken).
A passion for Deliveroo’s mission and values.
Proven ability to operate with high commercial acumen and business savvy.
Why Deliveroo?
Our mission is to transform the way you shop and eat, bringing the neighbourhood to your door by connecting consumers, restaurants, shops and riders. We are transforming the way the world eats and shops by making access to food and products more convenient and enjoyable. We give people the opportunity to buy what they want, as they want it, when and where they want it.
We are a technology-driven company at the forefront of the most rapidly expanding industry in the world. We are still a small team, making a very large impact, looking to answer some of the most interesting questions out there. We move fast, value autonomy and ownership, and we are always looking for new ideas.
Workplace & Diversity
At Deliveroo, we believe a great workplace is one that represents the world we live in and how beautifully diverse it can be. That means we have no judgement when it comes to any one of the things that make you who you are - your gender, race, sexuality, religion or a secret aversion to coriander. All you need is a passion for (most) food and a desire to be part of one of the fastest-growing businesses in a rapidly growing industry.
