We are looking for a confident Support Worker with a passion for delivering outstanding care.Youll be working 42 hours a week, making a positive difference to the lives of the people in our care at Cygnet Victoria House.

We are looking for a confident Support Worker with a passion for delivering outstanding care.


Youll be working 42hours a week, making a positive difference to the lives of the people in our care at Cygnet Victoria House.


Cygnet Victoria House is a 26 bed mental health inpatient service for men. The service, split across two wards, provides a safe and stabilising environment for men who are experiencing an acute episode of mental illness and require an emergency admission.


The ethos of our service is about assessing and treating service users in the least restrictive environment and planning for discharge in a robust and timely fashion. With a focus on stabilisation, we will support service users to manage their mental health, reinforce daily living skills and prepare for independent life back in the community.


Our approach is recovery focused and supported by comprehensive multi-disciplinary teams, contributing to shorter lengths of stay.

Support both management and team members in the day-to-day running of the service Ensure duties are allocated effectively and safely Offer enhanced care with a flexible learning approach for all the people in our care Provide guidance & encouragement through physical & emotional support Learn about individuals specific needs & provide help in the most appropriate way Assist with medical & welfare needs and report as required Safeguard Maintain a safe & clean environment for all
