SEWING MACHINIST We are currently recruiting an experienced Sewing Machinist to join our client's growing production team. Location: Preston Salary: £28,080.00 - £39,520.00 DOE Hours: Full-time / Overtime available Monday – Thursday 06:30 – 16:30 40 hours per week. Role Responsibilities: Operating industrial sewing machines to produce high-quality garments/products Working with a range of fabrics including light and heavy materials Able to operate a Zig Zag and Mauser machines. Overlock. Sewing leather. Carrying out basic quality checks to ensure finished products meet standards Maintaining a clean and safe working area Meeting daily/weekly production targets What We Are Looking For: Previous experience as a Sewing Machinist (essential) Confident using industrial sewing machines Strong attention to detail and good hand-eye coordination Ability to work independently and as part of a team Reliable, punctual, and hardworking attitude Experience in clothing manufacturing, upholstery, or textile production is an advantage ? You'll be required to operate a Zig Zag and Mauser Machine. You'll need to be able to sew using twin needle, overlock and have experience sewing leather. You'll need to work to product specifications and perform quality assurance checks on completed products.
