Your Responsibilities
As a Diesel Mechanic, you will:
* Perform maintenance and repairs on diesel engines and transmissions in large trucks.
* Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues to keep our fleet in top shape.
* Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure the longevity of our vehicles.
* Repair electrical systems and hydraulics in diesel trucks.
* Execute welding and trailer repair tasks as needed.
* Utilize hand tools effectively for various repair and maintenance duties.
* Interpret blueprints for equipment maintenance.
* Ensure fleet maintenance is conducted efficiently and effectively.
What You Bring to the Table
We’re looking for candidates who have:
* Proven experience in diesel engine maintenance and repair.
* A strong understanding of mechanical systems related to diesel engines.
* Proficiency in troubleshooting and diagnostics.
* Knowledge of electrical systems and hydraulics.
* Ability to perform welding and trailer repair.
* Skill in using hand tools and interpreting blueprints.
Additional Qualifications
* Certification or qualification as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic.
* Previous experience as a Diesel Mechanic.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Troy, Alabama.
Compensation & Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
