Job Description
The UK Personal Health PR, Media & Influencer Manager is responsible for shaping the external reputation of Philips Personal Health in the UK through ‘always on’ media & influencer relationships.
The purpose of this role is to shape the external reputation of Philips Personal Health in the UK, through editorial media & influencer relations.

Responsibilities
* Consumer Understanding: Understanding the ‘Consumer Decision Journey’ and taking a proactive and leading role in advising internal stakeholders on the effective use of PR within the activation mix.
* Setting Strategy: Development of strong always‑on and proactive PR plans aligned with business objectives and campaign calendars; shaping the communication & activation strategy for the Philips Brand and its Business Categories; setting the KOL and influencer strategy; briefing & implementing local PR campaigns; integrating global/EU content into local activation plans; managing agencies and measuring KPIs; optimising digital campaigns; managing budgets.
* Teamwork: Teaming up with stakeholders across Philips business (B2C & B2B) to ensure consistent communications across the UK; working within a European network to drive PR best practices.
* Internal Stakeholder Management: Managing relationships from UK/EU Leadership Team to Local Category Marketing Managers; sharing updates on PR performance; managing reputational risk; acting as spokesperson for media enquiries and communicating professionally in crisis or sensitive situations.
* Collaboration: Working closely with PH Category Marketing Teams, Local PH Media Activation Team, European and Global PR, Health Systems PR Manager and brand teams to align strategy across Philips HealthTech.
Qualifications
* 7+ years experience in a media role focused on Business to Consumer (B2C).
* Aptitude to drive rather than follow strategy.
* Willingness to work collaboratively and manage multiple stakeholders.
* Digital understanding – influencers, social media, etc.
* Autonomous attitude – capable of setting own agenda and developing internal/external networks.
* Strong stakeholder management of external agencies.
