Customer Services Advisor Salary: Grade C - £24,413 per annum (£12.65 per hour) Hours: Fixed Term. Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm. (Part time may be considered) Location: We offer agile working with a hybrid approach to working remotely and from Codsall Community Hub (Council Offices). During your initial training you will be required to work from the Community Hub. An exciting opportunity has become available within the Customer Services Team for two Customer Service Advisors on a fixed term contract to deliver exceptional service to residents and customers contacting the council by telephone. One post will be available from April to end of August 2026 and the second post from April to end of June 2026. This dynamic and varied role involves handling customer enquiries, processing service requests, taking payments, completing applications, and providing appropriate signposting. While the primary mode of contact will be via telephone and supporting with the renewal of the Council’s green waste service, you may also support customers through email, social media, and, occasionally, face-to-face interactions. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and have proven experience in a customer service environment, engaging with a diverse range of customers. We are looking for a flexible, motivated, and team-oriented individual who understands the importance of resolving queries effectively at the first point of contact. This role is well-suited for someone who thrives in a customer-focused environment and enjoys working under pressure.
