We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Year 4/5/6 Class Teacher to join a fantastic primary school with a nurturing environment and a strong focus on student development. This is an exciting opportunity to teach a mixed-age class of 27 pupils in a well-supported setting.
Responsibilities:
1. Plan and deliver engaging lessons across Years 4, 5, and 6, following the national curriculum
2. Differentiate teaching to meet the diverse needs of students
3. Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment
4. Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback
5. Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community
6. Maintain high standards of behaviour and engagement in the classroom
7. Contribute to the school’s ethos and wider curriculum initiatives
Requirements:
8. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
9. Experience teaching KS2, preferably in a mixed-year setting
10. Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment strategies
11. Excellent classroom management skills
12. A passion for education and student development
13. Ability to work effectively as part of a team
