Job Summary
A skilled and motivated individual will lead Pharmacy Purchasing at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust. The successful candidate will manage the financial and administrative processes for procuring pharmaceutical products, train and support a dedicated purchasing team, and drive continuous improvement of services and tools within the Pharmacy Department.

Person Specification
Training & Qualifications – Essential
* Knowledge of professional purchasing principles acquired through a degree, Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (CIPS) certification, or equivalent experience.
Desirable
* Basic IT qualification.
Experience – Essential
* Experience or knowledge of staff management and motivation.
* Good knowledge of purchasing and financial processes.
* Experience of supplier and stakeholder engagement.

* Knowledge of specialised Pharmacy terminology and pharmaceutical sourcing.
* Experience working within the NHS.
