Project Engineer – Sizewell B
Join our client’s Engineering & Technical Solutions team at Sizewell B, one of the UK’s leading nuclear power stations, and play a vital role in the safe and efficient delivery of critical infrastructure projects.
Are you a skilled Project Engineer with a passion for delivering complex engineering solutions in high‑integrity environments?
Responsibilities
* Lead the production and management of engineering documentation, including quality plans and technical specifications
* Manage technical queries and stakeholder interfaces across projects
* Support contractor selection, tendering, and contract award processes
* Perform technical reviews of contractor designs, drawings, and documentation
* Conduct site surveys, feasibility assessments, and engineering investigations
* Prepare Engineering Changes and commissioning plans
* Support the Project and Construction Managers in delivering projects safely, on time, and within scope
Qualifications
* HND or equivalent in a relevant technical discipline
* SMSTS qualification (or willingness to obtain)
* Familiarity with CDM Regulations and site‑based project delivery
* Strong organisational and communication skills
* Experience working on complex infrastructure projects – power generation or nuclear experience is a bonus
* Knowledge of electrical systems and commissioning practices is highly desirable
