The Role of Restaurant Manager:
The ideal candidate needs to bring their A-game, showcasing a genuine passion for excellent cuisine, a commanding presence on the floor, and the ability to lead and develop their team. While financial expertise can be developed, the selected candidate will be accountable to a General Manager.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Handling daily opening and closing procedures, along with reporting and banking responsibilities
2. Conducting staff briefings and organizing the floor for daily business requests
3. Providing management and support to the team
4. Overseeing customer satisfaction checks and effectively handling complaints
5. Managing rota forecasting, training, recruitment, team and menu development, and Profit and Loss (P&L)
6. Implementing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure smooth operations
The Ideal Candidate for Restaurant Manager:
7. Currently holding a position as a Restaurant Manager, with a solid understanding of what defines exceptional quality in food and service
8. Possesses a vibrant personality, enjoying engagement with both the team and guests
9. Demonstrates a profound passion for food and wine
10. Exhibits ambition and a desire for career progression
11. Maintains a polished appearance and adopts a flexible approach to the role.
