Project HSE Advisor
Location: North Scotland - Peterhead
Support health, safety and environmental standards in major projects.

At NKT, we design, manufacture and install advanced high‑voltage cable systems for land and offshore applications worldwide. In this role, you will be part of an international team working closely with customers to ensure health, safety and environmental standards are met throughout project execution. As Project HSE Advisor, you will support the implementation of NKT’s HSE Management System and external requirements at project sites. You will work closely with site teams to identify hazards, minimise risks and maintain high standards of health, safety, environment and quality. Your role includes promoting HSE initiatives and ensuring compliance with legislation and contractual obligations.
Your responsibilities
* Produce regional HSE statistics, identify trends and propose initiatives
* Ensure legal compliance of site works and documentation
* Maintain and update key HSE documents as required
* Prepare and deliver site inductions and maintain induction records
* Communicate safety alerts and lessons learned to prevent recurrence
You will report to the Project HSE Manager and collaborate with project teams across multiple sites. The position is based in North Scotland with regular travel to installation sites.

Requirements
* Higher vocational or university degree in Engineering, Business or Health & Safety
* Experience as an HSE Advisor in an international context
* Knowledge of legal and contractual requirements related to HSE
* Fluency in English spoken and written
* Authorization to work in the UK
