Nurse / Midwife Practitioner - 34 hours

Are you a Registered Adult Nurse or Midwife who is passionate about reproductive healthcare?
We're looking for a Nurse or Midwife Practitioner to join the team in our Warwickshire Cluster, working 34 hours per week flexibly over Monday-Friday. This rota-based role covers Stratford, Nuneaton and Coventry. Regular travel across all units is essential, and full flexibility is required.
Responsibilities
* Provide high quality clinical care to BPAS reproductive healthcare services including termination of pregnancy, STI testing & treatment, contraception & vasectomy.
* Involved in all stages of the client pathway from consultation through to treatment and work in all areas of the unit including theatre & recovery.
* Provide treatment & clinical information to clients in person and over the phone.
* Care for and support clients undergoing surgical treatments (including general anaesthetic, conscious sedation or local anaesthetic).
* Complete relevant paperwork and coordinate with clinics or NHS agencies as needed for post-treatment problems.
About You
* Registered Adult Nurse Level 1 or Midwife (practising) with active NMC pin.
* Clinical practice experience of at least 12 months and interest in sexual health & reproductive healthcare.
* Knowledge of safeguarding and Fraser/Gillick competencies.
* Excellent interpersonal, communication and listening skills; compassionate and empathetic; comfortable using IT and Microsoft Outlook & Teams.
We are also looking for
* Sound and accurate administrative competence with attention to detail
* Gynecological nursing experience or relevant specialty (sexual health, contraception)
* Venepuncture / cannulation skills

Salary: £38,219 - £44,625 per annum depending on skills and experience - pro rata for part time.
All weekend work is paid at time and a half
Shift Pattern: 34 hours per week to be worked flexibly over Monday to Friday across all 3 units. A rota is given in advance.
Locations:
Stratford will be your base unit with mileage paid to the other 2 units as per the expenses policy. You will be required to work across all 3 units on a weekly basis.

Experience / Qualifications
* Minimum 12 months clinical practice experience
* Experience of general nursing or midwifery
* Experience completing client documentation and working within guidelines, policies and procedures
* Knowledge of Health & Safety and COSHH requirements and infection control
* Gynaecological nursing experience or relevant specialty (sexual health, contraception)
Qualifications
* Registered Adult Nurse level 1 / Registered Midwife (practising)
* Active NMC registration and valid PIN
* Ultrasound scanning skills
