McCrae Training Ltd is a multi-award winning Utility and Construction Training Provider.\n\nOperating from our fully accredited training centre, our team of specialist trainers, assessors, internal verifiers and business consultants deliver quality solutions for clients across the UK & Ireland. This includes Utility Industry specific training, the delivery of Vocational Qualifications (inclusive of funded Modern Apprenticeships) and tailored training programmes.\n\nThis position will play an integral role in the day to day running of the Finance Department within the company. The key responsibilities will be to ensure finance and accounting systems are maintained and up to date, along with invoicing (both debtors and creditors).\n\nDuties of the role holder include but are not limited to the following: \nâ¢\tConduct administrative duties, including both digital and hard copy filing, answering and forwarding calls, responding to emails. \nâ¢\tAccurate entry of supplier invoices onto the system and tracker. \nâ¢\tProvide administrative support to the Finance Dept. \nâ¢\tCompile and issue accurate client invoices / statements / remittances. \nâ¢\tCarrying out reconciliation and allocation of costs against appropriate nominal codes. \nâ¢\tComplete Debt Recovery against Company Procedures. \nâ¢\tObtain all Company Credit Card invoices/receipts monthly. \nâ¢\tLiaise with other departments to close out queries. \nâ¢\tCompile Payment In Advance report (daily). \nâ¢\tGenerate Overdue Debtor report (twice-weekly). \nâ¢\tAccurately report on business purchasing. \nâ¢\tUse a variety of software packages (including Microsoft Office 365) to manage data and produce documents. \nâ¢\tMaintain and update internal databases, and other corporate systems as applicable. \nâ¢\tWork under instruction of Finance Team Leader and carry out all reasonable tasks as instructed by other managers. \n Along with inhouse training to gain the knowledge to be proficient on all internal and external finance and accounting systems to effectively undertake invoicing, debt recovery and accurate data entry, the successful candidate will follow a structured Apprenticeship programme at SQQF Level 6 to obtain an AAT Certificate in Accounting. The successful candidate must be familiar with variety of software packages (including Microsoft Office 365) to manage data and produce documents.\nYou must be willing to learn, have a passion for accounts, be confident and willing to learn.\nMinimum of National 5's are required in English and Maths.
