As the Building Services Manager you will work closely with the Site Manager and share responsibility for the security, safety, maintenance and cleanliness of the estate ensuring a welcoming and safe environment for our whole school/college community. This role will include co-ordination and management of external contractors and a requirement to undertake reactive repairs and maintenance across the campus. Key Requirements: • be hard-working and flexible and able to meet the physical demands detailed in the job description • able to demonstrate the practical skills required to be able to undertake a range of general grounds maintenance, decorating, repairs and property maintenance issues • the ability to communicate and work effectively as part of a wider team Responsibility for key holding and responding to out of hours alarm call-outs (on occasion) is a requirement of the position therefore a flexible approach to work hours is needed. Although based at the Victoria campus the successful candidate would be required to support other nearby settings in the federation when required.
