Following on from the success of Hinkley Point C (HPC), the SZC project is a nuclear new build project in Suffolk, which has obtained planning approval and government financing support. The project has started construction and is now seeking private investment. When completed, it will provide dependable electricity to 6 million homes for 60 years, which along with renewables, will support Britain to achieve Net Zero by 2050. The Nuclear Services Agreement is the core design and engineering contract for Sizewell C, delivering a replicated, adapted design. The Contract Project Manager (civils) leads NSA civils delivery, providing robust commercial control, managing cost, schedule and quality, and acting as a trusted contractual partner to the SZC civils programme. You’ll be responsible for: Directing NSA PI services delivery. Managing early warnings, risks and variations. Providing scope challenge, cost insight and assurance. Owning end-to-end PI scope and contractor interface. Assuring deliverables meet replication and configuration requirements. Enabling review and acceptance of deliverables. Building trusted relationships across programmes and contractors. Reporting performance, governance and budgets. You’ll need to have: Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, resolve complex issues and provide clarity in ambiguity. Strong stakeholder engagement, communication and organisational skills, managing multiple priorities effectively. Project management qualification or chartership, with commercial awareness and continuous improvement mindset. Extensive major infrastructure experience, ideally nuclear, with strong contract and technical governance expertise.
