We have an exciting, new opportunity for an experienced solicitor/lawyer to join a busy Private Client department of one of the most innovative and unique law firms in Truro. The role will give someone the opportunity to manage a diverse and interesting client caseload, including estate administration (including of high value estates and estate with business and agricultural assets), lifetime planning for high-net-worth individuals and business clients, succession planning and elderly client matters.

The ideal candidate will ideally have at least 5 years' PQE, and a broad range of experience within private client law. We are ideally after someone who is keen to build positive, long-lasting relationships with clients and have the ambition and desire to seek out and secure new and repeated business. Responsibilities include:
* Manage a diverse and interesting client caseload, including estate administration (including of high value estates and estate with business and agricultural assets), lifetime planning for high-net-worth individuals and business clients, succession planning and elderly client matters.
* Build and maintain strong working relationships with other internal teams (Family, Real Estate, Corporate, Contentious Probate/Trusts) to support their work and encourage cross-referrals into the Private Client team.
* Take an active role in supporting the team leadership by contributing to management, supervising junior staff, ensuring Lexcel compliance, and supporting day-to-day operations.
* Engage in business development and support the ongoing review and improvement of team processes, precedents, and working practices to meet future client and referrer needs.
Skills and experience sought:
* Ideally have 5+ years' PQE within private client law
* A credible, ambitious personality
* STEP qualification is desirable, but not essential
