We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to be part of our Safer Communities team. The post holder will be responsible for addressing and tackling Anti‑Social Behaviour (ASB) and Environmental Crime within the Melton Borough, ensuring effective communication, support and assistance to our residents and stakeholders.
Responsibilities
* Manage a caseload of ASB and Environmental Crime cases up to and including taking legal action while maintaining a victim‑centred approach.
* Work closely with internal and external partners to foster a multi‑agency approach.
* Participate in the management and development of community safety work and contribute toward the delivery of the Safer Melton Partnerships (SMP) objectives.
Requirements
* Demonstrate ability to manage a portfolio of complex cases with minimal supervision, use initiative, think on feet, negotiate solutions through mediation, and respond proactively to emerging issues.
* Knowledge of relevant legislative powers and ability to apply them effectively.
