Leeds - hybrid working model (3 days in the office, 2 from home)

Better Placed is partnering with a leading, fast‑growing retailer to recruit a Senior Paid Media Manager. This brand‑new role offers ownership of paid media strategy, with a focus on data‑driven performance and brand visibility.
This hands‑on, autonomous role will shape and execute paid campaigns across multiple channels, working both in‑house and with agency partners. Reporting directly to the Head of eCommerce, you’ll help drive brand growth and customer acquisition through smart, insight‑led performance marketing.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Own and manage day‑to‑day PPC activity on Google Ads and Microsoft Ads – strategy, optimisation, analysis and reporting.
* Identify emerging trends and platform innovations to drive performance improvements.
* Lead and manage the relationship with the Paid Social agency to deliver high‑performing campaigns.
* Collaborate with the wider eCommerce team to create integrated, customer‑first campaigns that drive traffic, conversion and revenue.
* Analyse and interpret data to produce actionable insights that inform marketing and business strategy.
* Contribute to developing the affiliate programme and other paid media initiatives.
What They’re Looking For
* 5+ years’ experience in paid media, ideally in an agency or fast‑paced in‑house environment.
* Proven experience managing significant media budgets and delivering measurable ROI.
* Deep understanding of PPC, Paid Social and Display channels.
* Strong analytical and reporting skills, with the ability to turn data into decisions.
* A collaborative, commercially minded, proactive team player eager to test, learn and grow.
* Experience in eCommerce or retail is a strong advantage.
