Role Overview
This role involves troubleshooting complex issues, implementing best practices, and driving adoption of modern workplace tools. The successful candidate will provide advanced technical support and deliver solutions across Microsoft cloud and modern workplace technologies, ensuring secure and efficient operations for our clients.
This role focuses on Azure, Microsoft 365, and endpoint management, ensuring secure and efficient operations for our clients. It involves troubleshooting complex issues, implementing best practices, migration of hybrid environments to cloud only, and driving adoption of modern workplace tools.
Key Responsibilities
Advanced Support & Troubleshooting
* Handle escalations from Tier 1 support for Microsoft 365 services including Defender, Intune, Purview.
* Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues related to Microsoft solutions.
* Perform root cause analysis and implement permanent fixes.
M365 Administration & Configuration
* Manage Microsoft 365 tenant configurations, security policies, and compliance settings.
* Administer environments, including governance and lifecycle management.
* Advanced configurations of Intune, Autopilot, Defender.
* Support cloud‑only and hybrid environments (on‑premises Active Directory integrated with Azure AD).
* Support device configuration baselines to minimum security standards (e.g., CIS).
* Assist in rolling out new Modern Work features and updates.
* Experience with Azure services.
* Optimize collaboration tools for performance and user experience.
Security & Compliance
* Apply Microsoft security best practices (MFA, Conditional Access, DLP, Information Protection).
* Monitor and respond to security alerts within Microsoft 365 Defender and related tools.
User Enablement
* Provide guidance and training to end‑users and Tier 1 support teams.
* Document processes, troubleshooting steps, and knowledge articles.
Required Skills & Experience
* Minimum 4 years’ experience, preferably in an MSP environment.
* Experience with On‑Prem Server infrastructure in Azure Active Directory and identity management.
* Proficiency in scripting for automation and administration (e.g., PowerShell/SQL).
* Strong expertise of Microsoft security and compliance frameworks.
* Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills.
* Strong communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
* Advanced Microsoft certifications.
* Experience with hybrid environments and migration projects.
* Experience with PKI Infrastructure (on‑prem & Cloud PKI).
* Experience with pen‑testing requirements.
* Experience with Linux.
* Experience with Networking.
