Overview
SP220087 - Clinical Specialist Sonographer role at NHS Scotland. This position will be predominantly based at Dr Gray’s hospital in Elgin with potential time spent at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary and hospitals across NHS Grampian.
Responsibilities
* Participate in ultrasound examinations including General, Small Parts, Vascular studies and localizations for aspirations.
* Contribute to Paediatric, Muscular-Skeletal and Head and Neck ultrasound services as applicable.
* Work within a system that enables independent Sonographer diagnostic reporting.
* Train medical and non-medical staff as part of the ultrasound departments within NHS Grampian.
* Job plans will depend on experience; enquiries from those wishing part-time employment are welcome.
Qualifications/Experience
* Experience since gaining formal qualification in medical ultrasound with advanced skills within specific areas of medical ultrasound, or an equivalent higher postgraduate qualification.
