Location: Bedford Salary: £27,000–£33,000 per year D.O.E Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Industry: Manufacturing & Engineering
We are currently seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join our growing team in the manufacturing industry. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with hands-on experience in CNC machinery who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
* Set up and operate CNC machines for drilling, grinding, milling, and other tasks
* Develop and write CNC programs using appropriate software
* Inspect and measure finished components to ensure quality standards are met
* Troubleshoot and resolve issues with CNC machinery
* Collaborate with the production team to maintain efficient workflow
* Maintain a clean and organised work environment
Skills & Experience
* Proficiency in operating mills and CNC machinery
* Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of machine operations
* Experience with warehouse procedures and materials handling
* Ability to weld and use hand tools effectively
* Knowledge of tooling and its applications in machining
* Familiarity with logic controllers and CNC programming
* Capability to assemble and fabricate components accurately
