As a Laboratory Apprentice you will gain full understanding and experience of working in a Chemical Laboratory environment. You will work within all the relevant departments within the fragrance factory. In addition, you will spend 20% of your time becoming familiar with the other departments in the company including Production Support, Warehouse, Dispatch, Finance, Sales Customer service etc. Summary of duties: Sample Preparation Formulate and complete assigned projects within deadlines using chemical compounding and the Sample Library. Accurately weigh raw materials and follow formulations. Prepare, label, pack, and dispatch samples, ensuring accurate stock logging in Business Central (BC). Maintain the Sample Library by replenishing stock, updating batch details, and refilling bottles. Stock & Order Processing Use BC for stock management, order processing, and formulation printing. Log and update new stock locations and batch numbers in BC. Ensure raw materials are replenished and tracked in the system. Communication & Teamwork Communicate professionally with colleagues, managers, and external contacts. Respond effectively to requests and contribute to team discussions. Support team members, share ideas, and maintain a collaborative work environment. Administration & Compliance Use Microsoft Office for data entry, reporting, and document management. Maintain accurate filing systems and adhere to company procedures. Ensure compliance with Health & Safety policies and company standards.
