Maintenance Electrician - Static Site— Birmingham
£38k–£40k per annum
We are recruiting for a Maintenance Electrician to work as part of a small team at a static site in Birmingham City Centre. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants a site-based role working days Monday‑Friday, with optional call‑out.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and execute planned and reactive maintenance tasks on electrical systems.
* Maintain lighting, emergency systems, and building services plant room electrical systems.
* Complete PPMs in line with SLA and KPI agreements.
* Respond to Helpdesk requests, providing a professional and timely service.
* Ad‑hoc support across all disciplines, including basic mechanical and fabric tasks where required.
* Compliance checks.
Requirements
* City & Guilds Level 3 Electrical qualification (or equivalent).
* City & Guilds 18th Edition.
* Good working knowledge of electrical systems, HVAC plant, and building services equipment.
* Strong problem‑solving skills and a proactive attitude.
What’s On Offer
* Basic salary up to £40,000 per annum.

* Option to join the call‑out rota (£150 standby payment and minimum hours when called out).
