The practice is seeking a friendly, professional, and proactive Evening Receptionist/ Security to join our facilities team. This role combines front-of-house reception, switchboard, bookings coordination, and security monitoring to ensure a welcoming and safe environment.
The role is located in our Camden, London office, with the working hours of 4:30 PM - 9:00 PM Monday to Friday (with flexibility for office events or additional team cover as required).
Responsibility and Keys tasks:
Provide a polished, professional, calm meet-and-greet and switchboard service for visitors, staff, and partners
Coordinate bookings for meetings, refreshments, taxis, couriers, travel, and equipment loans
Monitor front-of-house security and manage access control; respond to incidents per procedures
Liaise with cleaning, facilities, and maintenance teams; support emergency procedures and fire marshal duties
Manage end-of-day lock-up, alarm setting/ unsetting, with lone-working readiness
Handle meeting room bookings with in-house IT, hospitality, and FM support; assist with AV basics
Oversee Administrative updates to reception documents and partner/ PA information
Provide cover for other reception team members as needed
Provide First Aid assistance, where required.
Experience
Excellent customer service skills; professional, friendly, and welcoming
Strong interpersonal and teamwork abilities; collaborative and reliable
Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail
Proactive and calm under pressure
Competent in MS Office and standard IT systems (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams)
Basic security awareness with ability to follow procedures
UK work eligibility and compliance with site-specific requirements
Prior experience in reception, facilities, security, or hospitality is advantageous
First Aid and Fire Marshal training are a plus (training will be provided).
The salary is dependent on the successful applicant's experience and qualifications.
