Store Manager - Huddersfield

About the Role
We're seeking a skilled Store Manager to join our retail team. This full-time role offers a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package.
As a Store Manager, you will:
1. Guide the store's commercial and community strategies to fulfill its purpose.
2. Lead and develop your team to ensure an excellent shopping experience for customers, colleagues, and members.
Key Responsibilities
* Empower your team to deliver outstanding service and promote the Co-op difference.
* Foster an inclusive culture where everyone feels valued and heard.
* Conduct regular performance conversations to support team growth.
* Ensure the store operates safely, legally, and efficiently.
* Manage commercial performance, recruit new team members, and oversee HR processes.
Candidate Requirements
Ideal candidates will have experience in team leadership within a busy, service-focused environment, excellent communication skills, and the ability to motivate and inspire. Essential qualities include resilience, problem-solving skills, and analytical ability to interpret commercial data. A proactive attitude and willingness to support store activities are also important.
