The Junior Coffee Trainer is responsible for supporting and implementing training and coffee developments including calibrations and recipe creations for all the UK market. This role will help to ensure Lavazza's high coffee quality is upheld, delivering the best in cup results possible for the customer. Furthermore, the role entails championing coffee across the Lavazza Professional business working alongside the coffee trainer and wider marketing team to achieve this.

The Role:
1. Conducting training across all LPRO UK functions on coffee, the Lavazza Professional Expert range, coffee equipment & continue to champion and build a strong coffee culture across LPRO UK.
2. Support the Coffee Trainer on recipe creation and calibration of each new BTC machine with all existing blends, as well as calibration of new ingredients across current machines.
3. Supporting the Sales team during relevant meetings and demos, as assigned by the Coffee Trainer.
4. Presence at all trade shows, as well as distributor and key customer events throughout the year.
5. Aiding critical/ high profile customer installations and activations.
6. Support on cross functional projects and developments.
7. Work to establish Lavazza brand standards for all drinks.
8. Collaborate closely with other members of the marketing team to support updating demo processes.
9. Support with developing new B2C auditing process to increase coffee quality and consistency across the business.
Coffee Training
* Conducting internal training across all LPRO functions to increase coffee knowledge and culture within the organisation. This includes running the Drinks Academy for all new starters.
* Train internal Sales teams on the benefits of Lavazza and our product portfolio.
* Train external distributors of relevant size, as directed by the Coffee Trainer, on the benefits of Lavazza and our product portfolio.
Stakeholder Management
· Work with sales to align and ensure training requirements are delivered on time and to the quality required.
· Work with the technical team on developing recipes on new products that are being brought into the product portfolio.
Recipe and Project Delivery
· Ensure recipe improvements are delivered in time and to Market needs.
· Deliver projects in line with Product developments including new product calibrations and recipes.
Demos & Activations
· Support relevant customer demonstrations in partnership with Sales.
· Attend customer facing initiatives, such as trade shows, with the objective of boosting brand consideration and supporting business development.
Skills
Experience working with either coffee products or coffee machinery
Clear ability to understand technical aspects of coffee machinery to enable recipe creation
Experience of or qualifications in training delivery
Experience in a Vending/Operations business would be an advantage
Strong presentation skills
Speciality Coffee Association qualifications desirable
Technical Bean to Cup machine knowledge desirable
Strong stakeholder management and ability to work collaboratively across multiple functions
