Finance Analyst / Costing Business Partner

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a driven finance professional with strong manufacturing costing experience and excellent business partnering skills. This role plays a key part in supporting operational teams, improving cost visibility, and driving informed commercial decision‑making across the business.
Reporting into the Finance Director, you'll work closely with production, operations and supply chain teams to provide accurate costing, insightful analysis and proactive financial support.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist with product costing, standard costs and cost‑of‑manufacture analysis
* Partner with operational and production teams to support decision‑making
* Analyse variances (material, labour, overheads) and provide clear, actionable insight
* Support budgeting, forecasting and margin analysis
* Provide financial insight to improve efficiency, reduce waste and support continuous improvement initiatives
* Produce clear reporting and present findings to both finance and non‑finance stakeholders
Requirements:
* Proven costing experience gained within a manufacturing environment
* Confident working closely with operational teams and influencing decision‑making
* Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail
* Commercial mindset with the ability to challenge and support operational colleagues
* QBE or part-qualified AAT/ CIMA / ACCA
