A well-established business based in the YO60 area of York is currently recruiting for a Temporary Accounts Admin to join their team on a temporary, ongoing basis. On offer is an hourly rate of £13 per hour, alongside a friendly and supportive team environment, Monday to Friday hours and home working options (3 days from home, based on a 5 day week). This role is ideally a full-time role (37.5 hours per week), but can be done on a part-time over 3 days, if desired. As a Temporary Accounts Admin, you will be: Processing invoices and handling purchase ledger tasks Reconciling supplier statements and resolving queries Assisting with credit control and payment runs, as well as sales ledger tasks Maintaining accurate financial records and spreadsheets Supporting the wider finance team with general admin duties To be successful in this Temporary Administrator role, you will ideally have: Previous experience in a finance admin or office-based role Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail Confident IT skills – especially MS Office and Excel A positive, can-do attitude and ability to adapt quickly Excellent communication and interpersonal skills This role is ideal for an individual who has been an Accounts Assistant, Finance Officer, Purchase Ledger, Accounts Payable, Sales Ledger, Accounts Receivable or Accounts Admin. Or, someone in a more general Office Manager or Administrator role, where finance has been a large part of your responsibilities. This great opportunity is easily commutable from Malton, Sheriff Hutton, Stamford Bridge, Strensall, Flaxton, and surrounding villages. There is free on-site parking, and while the rural location may limit public transport options, it’s ideal if you drive.
