We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Session Leader to join our growing team at Kids Can Achieve (KCA), supporting after-school, weekend, and holiday clubs for children and young people with learning disabilities and complex needs in Harrow. What Youll Do Lead high-quality, inclusive sessions that are fun, safe, and responsive to individual needs. Support and supervise a team of sessional playworkers during each session. Plan and deliver structured activities tailored to children with a range of needs and communication styles. Promote Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) and model inclusive approaches to behaviour and play. Ensure safeguarding and health and safety procedures are always followed. Liaise professionally with families and contribute to person-centred planning and support. Contribute to team meetings, supervision, and service improvement. You should have: At least 3 years experience working with children or young people in childcare, education, youth work, or a similar setting. Experience supporting individuals with learning disabilities, autism, or complex needs. A Level 3 qualification in childcare, youth work, or a related field. A current Level 2 safeguarding certificate and Paediatric First Aid (or willingness to update). A confident, adaptable approach to session delivery. Availability to work on a rota including evenings, weekends, and school holidays. A full UK driving licence is desirable. Apply Today!
