Teaching Personnel is delighted to be supporting one of our well‑established partner Primary Schools in the WF16 area, who are seeking a committed Year 6 Teacher to cover a period of maternity leave.
This is a brilliant opportunity for an experienced KS2 practitioner who feels confident delivering high‑quality teaching and supporting pupils in the lead‑up to SATs.

The Role
As the Year 6 Maternity Cover Teacher, you will:
* Deliver engaging and effective lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum
* Support Year 6 pupils in their SATs preparation
* Follow school planning and adapt where appropriate
* Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
* Track and assess pupil progress
* Build strong relationships with pupils, colleagues, and parents
* Uphold safeguarding and school policies

Essential Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Experience teaching within KS2 (Year 6 experience preferred)
* Confident classroom and behaviour management
* A positive, proactive and professional attitude
* An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
* The legal right to work in the UK
