We need experience applying structured evaluation, testing, and monitoring practices to ensure AI outputs are reliable, secure, and compliant with organisational guardrails. We need experience preparing and managing data used in AI workflows. We need responsibility for the lifecycle of AI features from experimentation through deployment and continuous improvement, including alignment with Salesforce data models where relevant. Responsibilities: We define and own the engineering strategy for Customer Platforms, including Salesforce, aligned to business and product goals. We translate enterprise and retail strategy into actionable engineering roadmaps across digital, CRM, including Salesforce, and integration domains. We provide clear technical direction within agreed architectural guardrails, including Salesforce architecture and ecosystem. We balance investment across innovation, resilience, simplification, and regulatory obligations, including Salesforce optimisation. We own predictable and high-quality delivery across digital, CRM, including Salesforce, and integration domains. We ensure strong engineering practices that enable frequent, safe releases across all platforms, including Salesforce. We monitor and improve delivery metrics, quality indicators, and platform reliability across Salesforce and broader customer platforms. We remove systemic impediments that impact pace, quality, or cost across engineering and Salesforce delivery. We lead and support senior managers and build high-performing teams.
