A leading international legal and professional services organisation is seeking an Associate to join its Regeneration, Development & Infrastructure team based in Manchester.
This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded real estate solicitor looking to work on complex infrastructure, utilities, regeneration, and energy-related projects within a collaborative and highly regarded national practice.
The Role You will advise on a broad range of commercial real estate and infrastructure matters, supporting major development and utility projects across both public and private sector clients. The role offers exposure to high-quality transactional work and the opportunity to work closely with multidisciplinary teams.
Key responsibilities will include:
Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating property agreements including leases, easements, wayleaves, licences, and acquisition documentation
Advising on land rights, title issues, and due diligence matters
Supporting land assembly and access arrangements for infrastructure and utility projects
Negotiating third-party rights and consents
Advising on infrastructure agreements and land access strategies for energy and development projects
Assisting with legal project management and transaction delivery
Candidate Requirements Applicants should be:
Qualified solicitors in England & Wales with 3+ years PQE
Experienced in commercial real estate matters with exposure to infrastructure, utilities, regeneration, or energy-related work
Strong technical drafters and negotiators
Comfortable managing multiple stakeholders and complex transactions
Familiar with statutory undertaker rights and land law issues
Experienced working with public sector bodies or regulated industries (desirable)
