An Events Assistant is responsible for day to day event operation functions including but not limited to packing & returns, event load-in, set up and load-out, and general event preparation.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
* Event load-in and load-out
* Event set up
* Working at height using ladders and access equipment
* Plan, prepare and pack for events
* Prop building and maintenance
* Use of power tools and equipment
* Ensure accurate and timely event packing and returns of event equipment and decor
* Maintain the general storage areas
* Assist with general showroom/office maintenance
* Daily maintenance of items and/or equipment as needed
* Perform various other tasks as assigned by Operations Manager
* Ability to work in an organised and efficient manner in a high-pressure environment
* Effective communication skills
* Ability to take direction and work alongside all members of the team
* Ability to meet physical demands of lifting and carrying whilst following safe working policies and procedures
* Availability to work varied shifts including weekends
* Own transport to and from main place of work essential due to remote location
