Curriculum & Assurance Manager Location: Bournemouth, Dorset, United Kingdom Dorset Job type: Full Time Permanent Salary: £38,000 Annum Contracted Hours: 40 hours per week Driving licence and use of own car ⭐ About the Role: The Curriculum and Assurance Manager role is a supporting role to assist managers and regional managers across two regions. This role reports onto the Quality and Audit Director who is the line manager. Strong Communication skills, as duties will involve producing written reports and relaying outcomes to audit and compliance inspection outcomes. Experience at Manager Level and or working within the care industry, show good initiative and excellent communication skills. Previous experience for working for a governing body such as Early Years or Ofsted. Good knowledge of information technology especially Microsoft office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PDF’s, and in house data bases) Driving Licence Key Skills at Level 3 or equivalent Degree in Early years or leadership and management. Key Responsibilities: Quality To develop and ensure quality of practice and inclusion provisions comply or exceeds Ofsted/national standards for the regions assigned to you. Detailing clear practices and area of the provision that is working well in and produce a report with actions to defined areas for improvements. To report to the Quality and Audit Manager and work with the Operational leadership to proactively identify actions and manage audit expectations in order for the nurseries to be fully compliant in line with the needs of the business, Ofsted and Local Authority Regulations. Internal audits undertaken within each setting, producing an internal Tops operation report to ascertain how well the setting is functioning from a quality point of view. To produce an annual report on all inspections – monitoring progress from previous years and agreeing annual actions with the regional manager Inclusion Support Setting INCo’s with Inclusion and SEND support. Support inclusion by giving advice to the key person, 1:1 worker and nursery manager for any equipment or strategies to be used to support children with additional needs. Support with report writing and checking developmental documents to ensure they are thorough and current, demonstrating the child’s development accurately. Complete regular reviews with the nurseries allocated to ensure that children’s needs are being met. Work with INCo’s at the dedicated nurseries, to support them to deliver best possible outcomes to all children in their nurseries with possible or actual SEND and/or behaviour issues. Coach colleagues to support and deputise yourself in this role. Perform a signposting/resourcing aspect to support colleagues.
