We are seeking a motivated, enthusiastic and well‑organised individual with extensive knowledge of administrative and secretarial procedures and systems. You will need an interest and flair for work within the area of education and staff development as this role will support our education and development programme across occupational therapy services within ABUHB.
Essential skills required for this post include excellent knowledge and understanding of a range of Microsoft Office applications. The post holder will need to effectively prioritise workloads, manage time, build and maintain relationships, and communicate verbally and written. The ability to manage multiple demands in a collaborative, team‑working environment is vital.

Qualifications & Knowledge
Essential criteria
 * GCSE Maths and English
 * Extensive knowledge of administrative and secretarial procedures and systems, non‑routine, acquired through training and experience to vocational level 3 or equivalent
 * Excellent knowledge and application of IT software, including the ability to design databases and spreadsheets
 * Demonstrable skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint and ESR)
Desirable criteria
 * Level 3 diploma in administration, project management or equivalent qualification related to the role
 * Audiotyping
Experience
Essential criteria
 * Extensive administration experience in health and social care, or education setting
 * Experience of using a range of technology including networked computer systems
 * Experience of using own initiative and ability to prioritise workload appropriately
 * Working under pressure to tight timescales
 * Excellent minute‑taking skills
Desirable criteria
 * Experience of developing databases
 * Experience of developing reports and correspondence
