About The Role
As a Welsh Medium Teacher you will:
* Teach subject content confidently through the medium of Welsh whilst delivering engaging and well-structured lessons that support learners’ progress.
* Plan, prepare and adapt lessons in line with the curriculum for Wales.
* Support and differentiate for learners with additional learning needs, ensuring all pupils can succeed.
* Create and uphold an encouraging, inclusive, and purposeful environment that promotes high success and student engagement.
* Manage classroom behaviour effectively in accordance with school policies.
* Assess and monitor students’ progress and provide constructive feedback to support improvement and growth.
What We Are Looking For
* Fluent Welsh Speaker with excellent communication skills in both Welsh and English
* Expertise in a subject area at KS3 and KS4
* Adaptability to work in various school settings.
* A cheerful outlook and genuine enthusiasm for supporting young people.
* Understanding of safeguarding and the important of maintaining a safe and welcoming learning environment.
Requirements
* Newly Qualified or Fully Qualified Teacher status
* Experience teaching in a secondary school setting, though we welcome Newly Qualified Teachers who are eager to grow.
* Hold an Enhanced DBS or able to obtain one.
* EWC Registration
* Full UK driving license is preferred.
* Safeguarding Qualification (we offer a course)
* 24 Months of references

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
