Helping children and young people overcome barriers to learning can be one of the most rewarding careers in education. This Educational Psychologist role offers the chance to shape outcomes, influence practice, and support meaningful change as a valued EP, Child Psychologist, or Educational Specialist.

You will work with autonomy while being supported by a collaborative team, giving you the space to apply your expertise and continue developing your career as an Educational Psychologist. The service places real value on professional growth, flexibility, and evidence-based practice.

Package & Benefits
• £40,146 to £49,175 per annum.
• £2,000 pro rata golden hello payment.
• £3,000 pro rata annual retention bonus.
• Relocation package of up to £8,000 (subject to eligibility).
• 27 days annual leave rising to 30 days with service.
• Financial support towards HCPC registration.
• Ongoing CPD and structured professional assessments.
• Flexible and home working options.

About the Company
You will be joining a forward-thinking local authority service committed to improving outcomes for children and young people. The team promotes a collaborative, inclusive approach, working closely with families, schools, and professionals to deliver high-quality psychological support and advice.

Key Responsibilities
• Assess and support children and young people experiencing learning or developmental difficulties.
• Provide evidence-based advice and strategies to schools, families, and professionals.
• Contribute to improving learning environments, teaching approaches, and behaviour support plans.
• Support local authority initiatives and contribute to policy, practice, and service development.

About You
• Qualified Educational Psychologist with HCPC registration or eligibility.
• Experience working with children and young people in educational or community settings.
• Knowledge of child development and evidence-based psychological assessment and intervention.
