Caretaker
Location: Outwood Academy Bydales
Working hours: Monday & Tuesday 10.15am - 7pm, 16 hours per week
Contract: Permanent, full-time
Salary: £13.54 per hour

Your new role
What you’ll do:
* Follow relevant company procedures related to security, access, maintenance & repair, and health & safety. This includes securing the premises and its contents, lighting, heating, handy-person duties, and assisting in ensuring the safety of pupils.
* Arrange for maintenance of plant and equipment.
* Report faults to the line manager according to procedures.
* Assist with maintaining the premises, conducting checks or inspections, and handling administrative procedures related to maintenance, energy conservation, and anti-vandalism.
* Manage delivery and storage of materials and goods.
* Perform porterage duties, including setting out furniture and sports equipment and distributing supplies.
* Undertake emergency cleaning duties as needed.
* Carry out minor repairs or report issues as necessary.
* Ensure service delivery meets customer service standards and policies.
What you’ll need:
* Awareness of health & safety issues and safe working methods
* Awareness of COSHH regulations
The successful candidate must have an Enhanced DBS with Child Barred List Check before starting.
