We aim to be a home where rare characters thrive, and we value every employee for their skills, experience and perspectives. ”INSPIRED BY OUR INDEPENDENT SPIRIT, WE CREATE OUR OWN LEGACY.” THE ROLE This 12-week placement has a specific focus on supporting NPD and CSR teams in the management and population of critical master data, derived from our component packaging specifications and entering this into our systems to facilitate mandatory reporting. You will be immersed in understanding spirits packaging componentry, and learn about environmental packaging legislation and it’s reporting requirements. During your placement you will work autonomously to: Technically evaluate, analyse and interpret component specifications to extract key elements of critical master data. Update critical material characteristics to defined standards within our IFS system in a timely manner that meets business needs. Communicate and co-ordinate with the wider team on task status to ensure work is delivered in line with project timelines. Liaise with packaging suppliers to request key elements of specification data. Report overall status of data entry against set targets. Maintainregular feedback to overall working group to ensure any roadblocks are managed. THE IDEAL CANDIDATE Are you a current student looking to build experience within a global business which promotes the development of rare characters? Our ideal candidate will: Be studying a materials science, technical or design related degree. Have an interest in understanding packaging componentry, it’s functions and materials. A good understanding of specifications and technical drawings. Strong organisational skills, be analytical and willing to learn new software. Ability to show initiative, understand processes, build relationships, and solve problems. Some experience of working within a cross-functional team, and an ability to provide regular updates and reports.
