About the roleWe are looking for two permanent Portfolio Assistants to play a vital role in supporting the successful delivery of NFU Mutual’s Enterprise Change Portfolio. Working within Group Change, you’ll provide essential administrative and coordination support to projects, programmes, and portfolio teams. This role is strategically important in ensuring smooth operations, effective onboarding, and accurate financial and data management across change initiatives. You’ll be at the heart of our change operations, supporting workshops and events, managing diaries and mailboxes, and ensuring new starters are equipped and onboarded effectively. You’ll raise and manage purchase orders, coordinate communications, and maintain accurate records to support project governance and delivery. Your responsibilities will include: Providing administrative support for meetings and workshops, including minute-taking and logistics. Managing diaries, mailboxes, and online platforms to ensure timely responses and effective scheduling. Processing purchase orders, invoices, and receipts in line with budgets and timelines. Facilitating onboarding for new starters, including equipment and access setup. Coordinating internal communications and publishing content aligned with corporate guidelines. Supporting office management and travel arrangements for delivery teams. Building strong relationships across Group Change to support collaboration and delivery. About youYou’re an organised, collaborative administrator with a sharp eye for detail and previous experience working within a co-ordination/support role is essential. If this has been within a Finance setting it would be preferred. Experience of working within project environments and a practical understanding of how projects run would be beneficial. Excellent communication skills, strong organisation and time management, and a team first mindset. Strong report writing and documentation skills.
