The Post We are seeking a proactive, highly skilled and experienced Security Manager to join our team within Brent Council. As a Security Manager, you will oversee the security operations for our council buildings, which are not limited to Libraries, Family Wellbeing Centres and our Civic Centre. Your responsibility will include maintaining a secure environment for staff, residents, and visitors, while ensuring compliance with relevant safety standards and policies. The Person Proven experience in a security management role, ideally within a public sector or local government setting. Knowledge of security systems, risk management, and emergency response protocols. Strong leadership and team management skills. Ability to develop and implement effective security policies and procedures in order to maintain compliance. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with staff, residents, and external agencies. Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
