You will work Wednesday - Friday from 07:30am to 17:30hrs
The role entails:
* Sort and prioritize workload (including multiple route sort) to ensure time commitments are met.
* Drive in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations.
* Ensure proper handling and delivery of sensitive materials with authorization if necessary and deliver high standards of customer care.
* Properly use and maintain delivery equipment, including handheld scanner, to deliver up to an allocated and realistic number of shipments per day.
* Complete daily safety checks, safe loading, securing load of vehicle, maintenance, legislative regulations and adherence to company driving standards (including tachograph vehicles).
About you:
* A full UK driving licence, with no more than 6 points and not have been disqualified in the last five years.
* A valid 7.5t driving licence (C1)
* An enthusiasm and passion to always deliver the best service.
* Great team player with the ability to use own initiative
* Excellent customer service skills
In Return:
Basic Hourly Rate = £14.56 (hours worked between 08:00am - 19:00hrs)
Premium Hourly Rate = £17.27 (hours worked between 19:00hrs - 08:00am)
Overtime Hourly Rate = £21.84 (over 45 weekly hours)
